Plural forms
Some adjectives in Welsh have an optional plural form, which can be used alongside a plural noun. You don't have to use these forms; the singular adjective is always okay to use with a plural noun. You're most likely to see plural adjectives in written language, particularly old-fashioned or literary styles, and in fixed idioms and phrases. The plural form of coch is cochion. You may already know this word from the first line of the famous Welsh folk song "Ar Lan y Môr".
